Dear CAPA members:

I am very excited about our joint venture with VAGP in co-hosting the Reverse Vendor Show (RVS) on Thursday, September 16th , the day before our Fall Conference. CAPA and VAGP have agreed that CAPA will receive 20% of the profit from the show. VAGP has committed to all administrative costs and funding. We are committed to volunteers. Since the show will be held in Richmond (location to be determined) we felt this was a no brainer for CAPA members. The majority of CAPA members are also VAGP members which really makes this a joint venture.

We are still in the planning process but need to start getting volunteers now for committees such as:

Food Committee and Set-up
Information and Directions
Name Badges
Registration Table
Signage
Vendor and Agency directories

CAPA has decided that some of the profit will be returned to our members in scholarships. That too will be determined later.

This can be a huge success with great volunteers. Let’s make CAPA shine.

Amy Holschuh still needs volunteers for the fall conference. This year we will not be doing the vendor show for obvious reasons. This will allow us to concentrate more on the educational needs of our members.
